The Apostles of Christ will stand out in the History of the Church, like the shining stars of the first magnitude of the spiritual life. On June 30, the Church celebrates the twelve Apostles who were originally chosen by the Lord, except Judas Iscariot. These are: Simon (Peter), Andrew, James, John, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew (Nathanael), Matthew, James the Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas the brother of James the son of James the on the eve of Pentecost, replacing Judas Iscariot. We outline the life of each of these Apostles on their special feasts. This is a reminder of the unity they had with each other, but also of their morality, which contributed so much to the spiritual rebirth of the world in Christ. We, the struggling Christians, owe it to ourselves,to move in their footsteps and with warm zeal to spread the saving message of the Gospel, which also inspired them, to become imitators of their work.
